The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) has a commuter benefit program called RideECO. It allows employers the chance to save money while simultaneously offering ways for their employees to save when commuting via Septa, Patco, NJ Transit, DART, Amtrak and Vanpools. It is the longest running benefit program since 1991. In Fall 2018, I re-did the look for this campaign. Previously, the only two colors utilized were green and blue–DVRPC’s primary brand colors. I decided to bring in an additional color, orange, to add contrast–but more strategically to collectively represent the colors of Septa. Although Septa is not the only company participating in this program, the colors are undeniably recognizable throughout the city.
We worked with Mayoseitz Media to successfully place all media buys throughout Philadelphia. The campaign showed up on digital bus shelters and all digital screens on Patco and Septa. Additionally we provided content and copy for Pandora ads, LinkedIn Sponsored Content and we programmed two digital e-blasts targeted for employers.
This campaign has made a lot of impact and huge growth in the Greater Philadelphia area and surrounding region.
